Game 3 in the bottom right corner of final score picture proves I played a Game 3
I would be terrible with paddles, never used paddles, but I'm sure I would be bad using them
Check out score picture for evidence that I played Maze 4.
Don't know why I didn't get the machine into the hardware picture, oh well
Always loved it for the Spectrum, but I'm not that good at this version. Something is different, but I can't put my finger on what it is
Looped twice
Great game, that was unknown to me until a few weeks ago
Video paused when I lose my last life at 4:27
I did a First Play Review of the game, for those interested you can find it here: https://youtu.be/jJRpm7nkO7k
Completed - Walkthrough
Watch video for evidence that I play on Skill One, which is proven by Level stating 1 during gameplay
Just voted on a lot of your scores, but damn you got many uploaded. Do you have a life?

A new game released a few weeks ago. It can be downloaded at itch: https://azimov.itch.io/cocaine-bear
There is a link in the description for this video, that link to a First Play Review I did of this game. Feel free to take a look :-)
Video paused at 18:42 where there is 1 second left on clock on the last life, as there are no HS table, and the game goes straight back to the menu.
Another Spectrum game completed. This one being a great Type-In game from the September 1985 issue of Your Computer.
To everyone on this site, please take a look at the video. There is a little message in there for you lot
Picture taken at the end of the game with game freezed, before it goes to congratulation screen. Of some reason it removes the last zero at some point
Final score picture taken in paused mode on PC monitor as the game shows an error trying to load the starting menu again. Final score picture taken at 28:41.
No proof of playing at Speed 5, but as its the slowest Speed possible, it would be silly playing on faster Speed, claiming it to be Speed 5

Never heard of them. I'll look them up, thank you

The game seems to have a bug, where the enemies stop coming for you in that round every time. I've tried 4 different files
Think I mentioned the trick earlier. Found the info

I really like this game on all other formats, but this version is not very good, seems so buggy
Played at Skill 1 with 5 starting lives. Maybe the other 3 Skill Levels could be added?
Score Rollover at 38:22, passing 999,999
Watch start of video for evidence of that I play on LOW
I would have a hard time picking which one I like the best, but if you force me I would probably go with Rainbow Islands
Think its hard to collect the diamonds from left to right, big chance that you don't get them all, but I think there is a way to control what colour comes up, but my little brain can only concentrate on playing
Watch start of video for evidence that I play a Regular game
I've given up a long time ago learning the system behind this game, same goes for Rainbow Islands
Well, for sure there are more points to collect than I do in this run, good luck
I'll probably see if I can complete it on original hardware, and improve my score there aswell, but need a break from it now
Unfortunately you can't use a glitch like that
Can't remember why I opened it with Free Choice. Might be because you can set speed after play, and then no guarantee for what speed you played on. Been many years since I had that setup, so a long time since I added the game to the DB
Yes much more is possible, especially if you can go all the way. The secret is to not lose a life in the first 20 and 30 rounds, then you can enter the treasure rooms. Probably also at 40, but never managed that
Its a great game, and can get a bit hectic
Yeah, lot of those cute games on the Amiga
YES, finally after all these years, I complete Baby Jo
That last round is insane. You need a lot of luck to get going in that round
Yes, I've always loved it, and hope I can complete it soon. It seems I have more patience these days to go for completion
Ran into copyright claims due to Dixie tune used, so there might pop up adverts as I understand it
Yeah, and some mystery bonus. Did not look more into this. To be honest I've forgotten all about it
By far the slowest Rally X game I've ever seen/played, maybe that's why I'm so bad at it
Unless its a compatibility problem with the emulator, it seems the game won't give you the Game Over message when you lose your last life, once you reach the second mine
Keypresses shown in bottom right corner. 0 for starting OBS, and 4 to start game on Skill 4
Fun French game

Completed difficulty Novice which really isn't that hard, However the two other difficulties are almost impossible
Watch start of Video for evidence that I played on Novice.
Did not show in video that I choose Level 1, as playing a higher level, and then claim its play on level 1, would be kind of silly
Watch start of video for evidence on that I play with Normal Control.
Another ZX Spectrum game completed
Did not mess about showing that I press 3 for Novice, why would I play more difficult level, and claim its played on lowest level
Added the 20,000 Points Completion Bonus according to Special Rules.

Forget the last line in previous message, a copy/paste fault
Recently comleted Land of Mire Mare, this is the follow up game, just called Mire Mare.
Managed to complete this one aswell
Accoringly to the Special Rules I've added the 2,000 Points Completion Bonus.
I managed to complete it, and have accoringly to the Special Rules added the 1,000 Points Completion Bonus.

Some of these including this one are old recordings, that I couldn't upload when I did them as they weren't in the database, and I had to request them first

Looped the game several times. Love that second round
My favourite Arcade game over them all
Not that long ago I uploaded a River Raid recording played on Real Hardware, where I had to stop recording as the time limit of possible recording came up on my iPad.
I decided when I get the time I would make another recording under emulation, so that I could reach and destroy that Bridge number 255, where the game messes up the Bridge counter.
Well it all ended with me maxing out the score at 500k where the game freezes, which I didn't know it would. For more info, read the extra info in the YouTube description
Got all official models of Spectrum, and at least 3 C64s, and on top of that a lot other machines, consoles and computers
Once again, I got more working ones. At least 3
Once again, I got more working ones. At least 3
Its not as easy living in Denmark, and after Brexit its probably to expensive sending stuff to the UJ to be fixed. But lucky me I got a lot of different ZX Spectrums to fall back on, in case one breaks down
Completed in 5m42s, check video that it runs from 00:03 to 05:45

Died intentionally as I was getting tired, and soon recording space on iPad would run out anyway
Easier than most other versions I think.
Next game in the Kyd Cadet series completed
I played from 00:02 to 12:16, making a completion time of 12:14
Completed the game, therefore added the 10,000 Points Completion Bonus to the final score of 10,317 = 20,317
There are two videos with this upload. The first video is the one that counts, and gives the final score of 10,317. That one is completed by visiting all screens.
The second video demontrates how to complete it in an easier way by using the teleporter to teleport to the first letter. Just for those who are interested
Completed the Democratic Convention, not that it was difficult at all. Really boring game, just to make money of those poor chaps back then who didn't realise this show was a waste of time. More a Magnum P.I. watcher myself
I've completed this game back in 1987, but how I did it I wonder why, as the controls are very clever, but also very annoying
This game is a lot harder than it looks. Happy I could manage first screen
There were many horrible Donkey Kong clones back then, but this one is good, but no surprise, its Blaby baby

10k more than my completion score I like the game, but I don't know about you, but once you complete a game that takes so many hours completing, I find it hard going for it again. Maybe some years will have to pass
Well done.
Can't remember playing it back then. Probably got enough after Grand Prix Simulator and BMX Simulator

This time I played the English version Jump. Got to the third building
Well done BTW. I've completed it under original with 3M something. You must know some places I don't, but I'm jusy happy I completed it after so many years
Can you get it up on YouTube? If not, maybe re-enter it, and link to the twitch video. Not sure if you have already gotten to many NO votes for it to be voted legit in the end.
Played the Spanish release like I did back then. Made the exact same score as my previous best done in 1986. Kind of annoying

Sorry, but that is a big NO. Video needed for a score like that
Yes, I always have a blast playing 8 bit stuff
Final score picture taken on paused mode on my Laptop, as the game skips to startup screen right after you die. I did that picture milliseconds before I was drowning at 10:05 in the video
Forgot to show in video that I press 1 for Level 1, but you can see it on the speed of gameplay if you are familiar with the game. Also, who would play the harder levels, and then upload it as the easiest level gameplay
The game rolls over everytime it rounds 100k. 100k roll over at 7:16, 200k roll over at 15:14, and the final 7,400 points at 15:49.
Fear you'll have to watch the video for score evidence, sorry

Well done on completing it. The best racing game for the Spectrum if you ask me ????
Voting yes of course ????
Thank you, but having problems getting as high as on original hardware. Since I've moved on to playing more Original, I have problems when going back to emulation, wonder why
Final score picture taken in paused mode on laptop as the game jumps to main menu before I could make picture, as I had to stop video recording first. Final score can also be seen in video at 6:19.
It might look like a 4 and not a 9, but if you have doubts watch the video, it is a 9
I'm going through a lot of disks I got when buying a C64 with floppy drive. The second the startup screen came up, I remembered playing this back then
Been giving it a few goes, not getting close to 4,100. That game is crazy
Bought this C64 some weeks ago with that disk drive and a ton of disks, that I'm going through
Doubt you'll get it deleted, if it hasn't been voted legit, you can delete the score
But this is not Hard. On Hard you start with 100 gifts. Isn't this the same recording as the one you used for Easy?
Played on Novice, for proof of that watch start of video

Yes, Easy as having 150 gifts from the start. Took the liberty to add both Easy and Hard to the database
Final score picture taken on laptop in paused mode just before I run out of energy. It can be seen at 6:19
You can see this is Skill Level 1 at the start of the gameplay in the video, as there is one blocking platform from the beginning.
You can tell by maze structure that this is Maze 2 being played.
A once in a lifetime game of Drelbs for me. Doubt I'll ever beat this. Round 8 is crazy.
Final score picture taken in paused mode on laptop as the game jumps to main menu before I could make picture, as I had to stop video recording first. Final score can also be seen in video at 22:00.
Did the 5.90km in first try, so thought it would be a piece of cake beating GTi' 5.93km, but so wrong. Didn't get close in the next many tries, so just had a lucky run
Killed myself in the end. This game is to easy. Didn't they playtest back then? An extra life at every 10k is to much. If they had at least taken a life if you didn't bake a certain number of breads in a round, then it might have been challenging.
Not even sure a 3 lifes max, would make this a good competition
Last score given is at 11:30, and picture of that is done on laptop when playing back the video

Thanks, yes, there was some gems hidden amongst those type-in games. Worst was when description of game sounded good, and you spend hours typing it in, and then it was crap

It seems I forgot to make a picture which include the machine itself. Sorry about that, but I think you've all seen that by now
Like it a lot aswell. Sometimes an easier version is better
Great score. I've looped it some years ago, but not sure I could do it these days. One of the "bosses" are hard if I remember correctly
Final score is 2,882, but as I complete it, I've added the 1,000 Points Completion Bonus

Why? It doesn't work as easy and good as the one I use now
Yes, and time based, so a quick try to see if ones score can be improved
Another fun Type-In game for those like me with simple taste
Completed
First time ever I complete this game. Final score should have been higher, but I messed to much about with the puzzles.
Really liked it. One of those 'one more go' games

Can't remember how far I got, and tried both 1.3 and 2.0. Probably A600 compatibility problems as you suggest Never found an A500, got three A600
Can't find a version that doesn't freeze at some point
Released on a Your Sinclair covertape. Wonder why no company released this. I suppose the author Brian Cross tried that

Yes, this was a Type-In that was wildluspread back then. Very good stuff for a Type-In game
Me too, doubt the youth of today would do that
Another example of that there was published a lot of great Type-In games, this time coming from Your Computer
This is a race against time, how fast can you break the Dam, and get to the top.
Here you got 60 seconds to try and clear as many bricks as possible, while the Dam workers are trying to rebuild the Dam.
Yes, I do, and with the price raise I'm glad I did the first run
This game started out as a Type-In game called Bomb Alley from the mag Your Computer
Can't find a version that doesn't freeze on my A600 in the later rounds
Timer at 00:00 proves this was a 3 minute game, and not a practice game where timer runs up.
Also never played it until recently. Better than I thought it would be
Love this game, if I choose to do a rare Emulation recording, this might be a score I'll try to take back
Watch start of video to see that I play on Expert.
Completed this great game
Video in two parts, as I don't have space on iPad for the whole game to be recorded in one file
I hate this kind og games. So annoying, but still so addictive
Great score. I've never been any good at this, but still a game I like to play once in a while
We have a thread somewhere in the Forum where you can post your systems, and update the list
Thank you, impossible or more pointless creating a video for handhelds
Ahh, it can't play directly on this site like the others of yours. Need to click a link that comes up to play it directly on YouTube. You must have changed a setting, which makes it impossible to open it on a different site than YouTube.
Not for me, as goes for one of your others. You must have a setting wrong
Yes, and it was £4.95 back then. To much for this game. Glad I didn't buy it back then
Yes, but sometimes the distance between the snakes are to far for you to get help from them. I need to play it again, and see if I can figure it out.
It seems its a type-in game from from AMC-Soft April 1987. Find that mag online and there is manual I guess.
Checked a video on YouTube, it seems you have a limited time where you can use your speed to rise higher up, and you can get help by landing on the snakes, and shoot up when doing so. Weird game, but I think that's the way to play it.
Can't remember to be honest. I can hardly remember what I did yesterday
Watch start of video to see settings played with.
9-1 / 5-3 / 5-0
3 Wins with goal difference of 15
300+15 = 315
This game is much better than it looks, try it if you dare
B. Jones did a lot of this type of games for the Spectrum, where he mixed a lot of small games into one
Not impossible to beat, that's for sure. You could try it under emulation
That's the hard part, some of the honey if placed in top left corner will be covered by bees, and you have to be patient, or wait nearby for it to be free for a short time. Think they should have programmed less bees, but making them faster.
All just film tricks, no aminals were hurt
Actually first rounds are very easy, but then came Helga
Yeah, the author must have realised since programmed it to showing it with the normal font aswell for a short time He did some great games good old Gary Capewell
There is only seven rounds, and you have to collect all the honey in them all, or what do you mean?
Watch start of video to see that I play on Skill Level 1.
Score can be hard to tell with this font, for better proof watch video at 10:40.
Yes, 16% completed, as we count this by Percentages done and not the score. You can build up score by going back and forth through screens shooting the aliens. The score is pointless in this game. On the highscore table it shows:
Score, Percentages
Don't know if that would be against the rules, but it would be hard saying it isn't allowed in this case
didn't know it was that slow on the higher levels
Probably the best Draughts for the Spectrum. However think the one from Oasis is decent aswell ????
Wish I had one of these. Would love to try this one, and see if the feel is the same as arcade
Could also be compatibility problems with this model, the +2a.
It seems the game freezes when you lose your last life
Final score picture taken in paused mode on laptop as the game jumps to main menu before I could make picture, as I had to stop video recording first. Final score can also be seen in video at 13:15
Proof of that type-in games with short playing time also can be fun
Or maybe its just me being weird again
The game looks so easy when you start playing it, but I always have to change my mind on that
Yes, it seems a little to confusing for me

Your way of scoring is fine with, no problem. New rules would be impossible to explain anyway, as its already now alnost at it possible lenght. There really should be a possible link to special rules, where a longer text could be added.
Rules say all leagues played, and you qualified for the re-run, so fair enough to count both
Should Europe count twice? Would that not mean that you could get more points for that track than someone winning it?
Had another look at International Speedway, and it was me who overlooked it needed the scoring entered again, so all fixed now. Feel free to upload
I love it. Very good
BTW, could you wait uploading for both Amstrad and Spectrum International Speedway? I added them, but need to make some changes, and of some weird reason Edit doesn't work. I'll give it a few days, and see if it fixes itself. I'll let you know when its safe to submit for it
COMPLETED
There are 3 different adventures to be played and completed in this game. At the beginning of each adventure your score is reset to 0, as you need points to buy stuff for. Final score are all scores of COMPLETED adventures, so this game is 33,600 + 34,470 + 3,230 = 71,300. Scores can be seen on provided screenshots, or in the video at 7:42, 19:26 & 29:53.
I had a Gotek before that, but never managed to save games with it, so could not play Pirates, and other games where you needed to save your game from time to time. That was annoying
I'm using this one, and I'm very pleased with it
Highscore table tells that score was made on Level 1.
Like it aswell, but never been good at this type of games
COMPLETED
Bought the game back in 93, when it was released, but had to wait until 2020 to complete it. Route in last round is a little tricky. This is the third time I complete it, but wasn't happy about the final score in the two other completions
Watch start of video to see that this was played on the hardest possible setting, Normal with 3 starting lives.
Sorry, noticed you cracked my first place, so had to have a few goes. Great game I think
I'm sure you'll beat me again
They were really innovative back then, and the programmer of this game Costa Panayi did some great games for the Spectrum
Part 2 defending the Castle and the Space Station.
Yes, very Tough, but I'm not good at shooters, so don't trust me on it
Yes, but unlike many other games, it gets harder on second loop
At the top of the score screenshot it states that this was played on difficulty Rookie.
At the top of score screenshot it states that this score was done on difficulty Honcho.

Yes indeed. Thanks for adding it, otherwise I would probably never had heard of it
Watch start of video for proof that I play on Easy
You were a pirate?
What I mean is weird is that a Software house released their game with their pirate logo, or did Interactivision not know?
Yeah, just before playing it I played Agony cracked by Melon with same tag
Weird really isn't?
Can't remember, but as it wasn't added with speed rules I probably did the slowest speed as we normally do. Maybe we should add more speeds. Can't remember much about the game I must admit
Could you remove your score, so that it can be fixed please?
Who added this game? Its called 'Bumpy's Arcade Fantasy'
Played on Normal with 3 starting lives as can be seen at the beginning of the video.
Nice Amiga Stardust is a great game, but very difficult. With level difficulty of just 18/100 in some of the first rounds, I wonder how extremely difficult it gets later
Completed, which really isn't that hard to do. Don't know if its the file that is corrupt, or if it my Amiga 600 which makes the game go to workbench screen after last level instead of going back to start screen

I love this kind of games, and so far this is the only good one I've been able to find for the Amiga. However, scoring system could have been better
Very nice Joystick interfaces for some machines back then are rare. Can't find one for the Oric. Seems there wasn't many in the market back then either ????
I also prefer Joystick play, but find the original Dragon joysticks horrible, so got myself one of these
http://archive.worldofdragon.org/index.php?title=File:Altai_JoystickAdapter_Top.jpg
Maybe best to play English versions were possible. More enjoyable for the majority on this site
Ah, that's right. Think you've told me before. Nice touch with the way to lose energy. Can't remember ever seing that in other games of this kind. Well done

If you want the file, go omargeddon's page, there is a link
@omargeddon
As you can see in the video, no problem with this file. I'm working on moving it from CF card to laptop, and then onto Dropbox for you
The problem is that you can't stand still until you get to the far left or right. So if inbetwwen two gates you need to keep moving left/right which isn't easy on that little space. A really annoying one more go game

I will look into that this coming weekend
Looks like file is corrupt. Don't think you should enter that score, sorry, but no way to know if it acts like it should
Never heard of this game until recently, very nice surprise
Played the Amiga version more, but Spectrum version seems very good aswell

Some of you might know Hugo who starred in a lot of games for the C64, Amiga, Playstation and Gameboy. He started out life in a Danish television program called Elevatoren in the early 90s. You could phone in, and control him with the buttons on your phone, and then you could win prices. Before Hugo came to world fame due to that, Oswald the Polar Bear had that role on Danish television, but never got world fame like Hugo did
Messed up initials input, so my score in under LAST on the highscore table.
What a great game
Watch start of video 00:13 to see that I choose Speed 9.
You lot probably think I've finally gone mad playing a Polish snake game, but I LOVE snake games
Thanks, still need to upæoad more, but no more time today I think
I agree, there are many good games for it, but that's mainly new game ideas that fit the machine better. Just think considering the power of Vic 20 they produced a lot of fun games when thinking of what they had to work with Anyway, won't be able to play my C16 soon anyway, as it recently blew up on me when turning it on
This game is a good proof of that they shouldn't have made conversions for this machine. Simply not big and powerful enough. All conversions I've played are rubbish. That's why I prefer the Vic 20 over this machine

Serious might be able to change the description, but he is difficult to get hold of. The controls seems very sloppy in this game

Final score picture taken in paused mode on PC monitor as the game jumps to main menu before I could make picture, as I had to stop video recording first. Final score can also be seen in video at 3:24.
Yeah I made a mistake when adding the game. Should have been Lives+1 * Money
Think I found out that if you complete the game you always have the same final score, so therefore lives left to make different scores if you complete it, so the ultimate challenge would be to complete it without loosing a life which would be a miracle with those controls

Very good explanation, I fully understand. Have played a lot of online Poker, so know the hands
Thanks for letting me know, makes the game more interesting
Poker hand as in the card game Poker? Meaning that if I take two of the same after each other, I've done one pair, and can't make the bonus anymore?
Thanks. Wish I could remember what to do on screen 3, been so many years since I've played it
Might not look like it, but this game is crazy difficult
Got one of those Comcon interfaces aswell. Very handy for a joystick freak like me
Voting yes
The fastest Pacman game I've ever played, which isn't working in its favour. Might have looked impressive back then, but not enjoyable

I've come to the conclusion that just going by the score is not a good idea for this game. I'll try to get the first database entry deleted
Spindles * Score
17 * 953 = 16,201
Well, not played it so much, but when I last played it, I also thought it was easy, until I got to a certain level, where it did start to get more difficult. Can’t remember what level. Surely not the most difficult game, but there are easier ones out there. I also enjoy everytime I can add a new game to the completed list. The first ever Spectrum game I completed according to my records was Raid over Moscow
I record with my iPad, which limits lenghts, as I only have 5-6GB space to record on

I'm no expert, and its been a while since I've played another version of this great game, but it seems to me that the Spectrum version is one of the more difficult ones out there
For me it will always be Match Day I on the Spectrum, and second Microprose Soccer on the C64
Your text is wrong, its:
Juventus 2 PSG 0
So, goal difference is 4, and score of 304 is correct ????
See start of video where I show Oric keyboard to show that I choose P for Progressive, and after that press 5 for Skill Level 5.
I stick to my opinion of this being the worst Frogger game I've ever played, it's really horrible

Probably my last submission of 2019

Thanks, not a good score though Must be getting old
Can’t see the point in scoring this on points...oh well.
Look in bottom left corner of right screen to see that score was done on Game B.
Difficult game. See bottom left that is was Game A.
Look at top picture for prove that the score was done on Level 8.
Great game, wish someone had done that for the ZX Spectrum back then

Well he does make a lot of weird submissions like scores not even matching onscreen score
Is this stolen from the number one player? Its the same score, and same person, or are you on a new account? Skipping until explained
Really an enjoyable game, just had to give it a go
This is fake. It does not write the topscore down there, and copyright 1985?

Over 1 million on any Joust game is just insane. That is one annoying game, never tried a pleasant version, but thats just me
Thank you. I feel the pressure of you also submitting for the game
Had it been many years since you loaded it last? If so, try and put it on the top of a hot radiator for an hour, maybe its a little moist. Helps getting a lot of none working tapes load for me
Going through most games from numbers to Z to see which works with my interface on my +2a
Also getting a lot of games added to the database that way
It is Really like those old simple games, so easy to get into, and then just go
So close, but game got to annoying for me to continue, but one day
Yeah, you are right about that However he appears when you loop the game to thank you for helping him, how nice
Watch video to see that first round played is Act 1 - Scene 1 - Take 1, which proves I started at Level 1 - Novice.
You can’t use the smilies available on your keyboard, you must use those available above. I get so annoyed when I forget, and all those ???? appears
It was the second biggest computer due to salesnumbers in Europe in the 80s, and number one in the UK as far as I know
The blue 0 on left side proves this score was made on Level 0, as this is the Level 0 highscore table. You can also watch video for prove of level played
BTW, the guy who did this, just recently did a proper and really great versions of my favourite arcade game Rally X for the Spectrum
Not sure this is totally legal But the guys behind Bomberman released a Spectrum version of the game in 84 called Eric and the Floaters. First showings of Hudson Soft’s Bomberman idea
Reminds a lot of Cybernoid

Probably the game with the shortest intended gameplay ever, as when all Fireballs are used its game over, so the Aliens get you one way or the other Still a fun game though.
Can imagine this would have been a lot of fun for a bunch of mates back then, see who on an afternoon would be the most daring to end up on top of that highscore table
Don’t think it still is produced, but easy to get on Ebay I guess. Got 4 myself, but none of them is for sale
Sorry, can’t see how to make a video of this that would can justify an upload on YouTube

Would have been better had they run it through some kind of compiler to make it faster, but still a nice game
You need to delete this and submit again. This is not Combat School
Could be but should have been named differently then, to not confuse players
I’ve never played it back then either. To fast moving to be really enjoyable I think

Fido 1 is a lot better than this sequel. Both games was included on a mini compilation from Firebird called 'Don't But This'
A ZX81 game ported to the ZX Spectrum One of the few ZX81 originals that have sneaked into my collection, great game
Oh, don't turn volume up, there is no sound in this game, not even BEEPs
Don’t know Mousetrap, would say that this is a clone of my second favourite arcade game Lady Bug
Sorry, no video. Ran out of storage space after recording for about 30 minutes
Yeah, and the extra mines that are randomly places doesn’t make it any easier.
Thanks, even games that are easy to complete add up on the completed games list

Yeah, welcome, another player from that Facebook compo here
With iPad its not possible to record from front, but you have to do it from the side, so it would not be watchable anyway I think
I make videos with my iPad, and can’t see how that would be possible for handheld machines. I agree that demanding videos for handhelds is not right. Yes from me
I’ll also get problems with long recordings, as I only have 5-6 GB space to make recordings on my iPad. Haven’t tested how long recording is possible, but doubt its an hour or more
I've posted Dropbox links in the Forum under General, hope you enjoy, but you probably gotta love the Spectrum like I do to enjoy it
Yeah, but to easy. Only interesting way to compete in this game is to see who can finish one loop with the best score, which is determined by time left in each round
Speaking of great graphics in this style, have you ever played Rex? Great game aswell
I’ll put the issues in my dropbox as soon as possible, and give you the links
Can’t remember the C64 version of West Bank right now. Hope that Bomb Jack will be better than the original release for the C64
Got a N64 aswell, but probably the system in my collection that I dislike the most. Just can’t see the magic, and don’t have any good games for it
Yeah those Everdrives are very expensive Think I got about 10 originals aswell, one being Bank Panic. Always loved that game, especially on the Spectrum, West Bank
Would like an original Rainbow Islands, but that one is very expensive for this system, oh well, can't have it all

Well done, never been anywhere near completing this game
Happens to all of us that we mistype one digit sometimes
I suppose you are ROB, even though below that you did enter your real initials BOB as given on this site, but besides that the score is wrong, it 1,393,510. Should be deleted and resubmitted
Completed...Fun little game, but not to hard to complete
Seems to me that You Tube messed up the quality of the video
Don't like boring scoring systems like the one used in this game. Why not build in a timer instead of fixed points in each round?
The formula gives a different score for all possible scoes submitted, and is easy to understand, while text easily gets misunderstood. That’s how we have solved this for some years now, and I’m not going to change that.
So far only one have not followed the rules of the game and voted no because of score doesn’t match score on screenshot which is wrong if rules are followed
That was how I scored it in the first place, and was attacked for doing so, therefore I added the formula to get last digit included without any confusion about it. Either way its the same, and its not a difficult formula to work with, while your suggestion is the same but some who don’t know the game it might confuse
Thanks you, yes its fun, but a little repetetive. Never played it before now
I’m done with this. I can’t accept a scoring system where 215.4 gives the same score as 215.9. If someone beats the topscore on decimals but get the same score because its rounded down, that player might get first together with the other player (with the worse score), but he’ll not get the trophy for first, as that is given to the player that gets there first like with games that can be maxed out. How can that be fair? Now you can come with 5-6 more messages were you swear at me, but I won’t reply. This is my final say, its a stupid way to score it, sorry.
100 - 0 Victory. Very lucky second game. Don't worry, as you can go over 100 points, this can be beaten, but some luck needed
Always preferred this over Arkanoid Don’t tell GTibel
2 people is most of us? Don’t you guys get that your way of scoring it, that scores from 250.0 to 250.9 all gets the same score? That is stupid. I’ve been involved with highscore sites for many years, and scores like this has always been scored with a simple formula like this one. I’ve never seen scores being “rounded” down, that’s not very clever, no matter how many think it is
No, but if you do times 10 it gives a different score for every possible distance, unlike when you round down, where a player with 251.4 gets the same score as one “only” doing 251.1, which is stupid. In sports games with height and character scores we also do times 10 or times 100 depending on what suits best, we don’t go in and use the time score for scores that isn’t scored as a time score, and we don’t round down or up, as to many would get the same score. What you guys do on your consoles is up to you, on this system it will be scored like this.
Then vote no. Its not like its the hardest formula, and this is not a time score, so not easy to enter using the time formula. Its much easier like this. We do that with a lot of sports games aswell, ad no one complains about that. No offense, but it will stay like this. Go on and vote no.
No need to, it only complicate stuff having it scored like miles. Could add [Miles * 10] for no one to be confused, and get rid of the decimal
Just tried to install that mover program on my Laptop, and their I succeded moving all my pictures and the 3 videos. Will try to upload them tomorrow
Now I just fear that it won't work next time unless I pay for the program even though it says its free. Fingers crossed, but at least I saved those 3 videos from DOOM
But I won’t give up, it worked once, so why not again? It says it failed. Even bought a new USB cable as that was one suggestion if it doesn’t work. Next try is deleting two of the videos, in the hope it only can handle one video at a time. However if that’s it, that would be painful
The game is so easy the only way to score it is to see who can get the best score on one loop.
Well, would have preferred this being a video, but haven’t been abe to transfer from iPad to PC again like I did with Elven Warrior. Have 3 videos ready, but something prevents it from transfering the files. I’ll never understand all this new technology. Wish we could have stayed in the 80s
I succeded in making video with iPad and then get it onto my PC and further onto YouTube

I actually interviewed the author of this great game Michael Batty for my Spectrum fanzine many years ago, very nice bloke
Got myself a new toy Had one of the when I was a kid, so really pleased about getting it.
You can see in bottom left corner that I played an A game.
I hope so, as I don’t fancy doing it again
One of the first games I bought as original together with Splat, great games
I kind of like it, and the Spectrum version is very well programmed. But a lot of better games out there
Numbers of eggs collected in top left corner. Very hard to take a good picture of it, due to the colours used in the game
Yes, great graphics, but unless I’m missing the point it seems to difficult
Look ar HS table. Who remember Transvision Vamp? She was gorgeous
I was surprised of how fun it was, but I’m easy to please If you complete 12 rounds you can work out a code from messages you get, to get access to the second part, which I think is a proper adventure game
Unless its me who is bad at it, it seems its hard to get the ball up in speed. Think it must be hit perfectly with flipper to get up in speed. Bought this and a Pinball game for the PS1 in a retro store while on holiday. Sure thing about those games, they got a score, so useable on this site
Screen shows I reached the Goal, and dug 500 metres.
Thats why you got such a high percentages. I should have builed in a completion bonus. I bet you didn’t find the way to the attic, where they probably had places the third part. The stairway to the attic is not that far from where you start, but you beed some keys to get there. Think my emulated score is a video of it completed. Try watch it
Yes, this is not as bad as I remembered it to be. Kind of simple and fun like their Fall Guy game
I escaped
Screenshot tells this score was done on Skill Level 1.
A video to remind me of how to do the first part of this game. Second part seems harder
The Percentages is the number before the punctation mark. The number after the punctation mark is your score which doesn’t do much other than resetting itself to zero when reaching 10,000, but then add a little to the percentages when resetting.
Screenshot state that I won, and played on Level 0
Reached 7-2, this it end after 7-3. so very close yet so far away, as 7-2 is tough
Taking advantage of all the extra lives the game gives you
That’s right In the US it was released under the name Timex.
Just requested some PS2 stuff, done within 24 hours Sadly it seems the names are to long to be able to upload picture, filename to long I think
I guess we could leave out the "Other Places To Visit" part. Will only mean that players who don't know the game that well, would have to do some searching to find "Rocky Mountain Trail".
Did the IMGUR thing, but will only make the one upload, as I'm not sure Serious would like tons of these links in comments uploads. We need this fixed. Wonder why we never had that problem before, as I'm sure there are entries out there with a just as long name.
Can't upload these pics, probably because filename is to long. We need that fixed. Here they are on IMGUR:
Same problem renaming them to 1 and 2. Think the name I've asked to be added is to long, but the system should be prepared for that. Will try IMGUR.
They are on my iPad, so don’t know what name they got. Might have to send them to my PC.
Pictures don’t show up for me. Can any of you guys see them? Anyway, not that hard to beat I would think
Or how many levels can be completed with 3 lives, might be better than score
Great to see you got it added so fast Voting yes of course
You could remove the score, and ask for Mode 2 to be added, and then re-submit it. That way people know that the first entry is for Mode 1, and the new requesr for Mode 2.
Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior [Mode 2]
Sadly, I don’t think so I’ve worked out a route, but need to find an AIR ticket somewhere to take to Denmark to be able to fly to Sweden. Not giving up though
Yes, very nice, but difficult and a little confusing at times
Can’t remember that arcade game, but it sounds like that this was an idea of Ultimate for a release in their early days.
It confuses me. On WOS Ultimate is credited for being behind the idea. Did they release this for another machine? This remake is done by a Dane, which I also didn’t know. Its not that the game is bad, but the controls are. Its hard to just run around as its pixel precise if you turn into another alley if you know what I mean?
Checked, you do have infinite lives as long as the timer runs down, after that you have two lives. Either you have less lives after counter reach zero on Expert, or it simply gets harder.
If I'm not totally wrong, and my brain play a trick on me, then the difference is that the timer that runs down from the start of the game is shorter on Expert, as aslong as the timer is running down you are immune to hits from the other cars
Beat the Ghost Rider on first level. Think this is only a few points away from my PB
Would recommend this one, which is the newer version of what I got with two joystick ports
Yes, enter 1 in minutes, and enter 53.42 in the seconds box.
Try and enter 00.95 in the last box, should work.
Watch start of video to see that Speed is set to Medium.
Love this type of game, but this one is to difficult. Can’t even finish the first screen
245.31 seconds is equal to 4:05.31.
If you enter it as 245.31 in the seconds box, it calculates the exact time in minutes for you
I’ve already voted yes on your HERO score Love HERO myself, a good game on all systems
I agree, got hold of a C16 in superb condition, but the games quality is not good. Especially games that was also released for the C64 are shockingly bad. What made them think they could do those with less memory? I prefer the Vic 20 anyday
New PB, as I’ve also always had problems with it.
No, load inlay on WOS, and it states 1983. I deleted that Simon Software title again. Wonder who added it? Replaced it with a more proper title. Most people will not know how to load that other game anyway, as its part of a multitape
BTW, the best Frogger game for the Spectrum is Froggy from DJL Software
To its defence, it from 1983, and not 1984
Great game, completed it some years ago, but when I played it recently in a Facebook HS compo, I could not remember the last rounds
Score should be 6,064,190. Better remove and re-submit
Completed, which must be a great achievement as there isn’t any Walkthrough videos on You Tube
[Toad Points - Slime Points] + [Completion Bonus]
[2.764.700 - 145.400] + [1.000.000] = 3.619.300
Don’t use Joystick for these type of games. Keyboard gives much better results
Yes, but still feel a bit away. Not an easy game, and great score by Kernzy
Remember that, been a while since that was uploaded, great score
Hey, what are you doing here?
Welcome on board, and yes of course
He was huge as comics in the UK as I understand it. Don't think he was even published over here in Denmark. I for one have never seen any over here.

Also, unless I’m totally wrong we are not allowed to use () in the formula, as it messes it up, but that might have been changed.
The idea is that the result would be 312, yes, but I fear its to late to change the formula, which I must admit is confusing, and wrong. The idea is that you always get 100 even if you don’t find any recipies, that’s why 1 is added.
I don’t have any Amiga scores to vote, so I must have voted for it already, and I’m sure it was a yes
Played on default settings. Really frustrating game
Yes, Solar Jetman never made it to the Spectrum though
Thank you, my only C64C, got two normal C64 machines aswell
Spectrum version of one of my favourite handhelds. Never knew about this until now
Completed
Had I known it was that easy to complete, then I would have done it many moons ago
Yeah, never been my favourite of the old classic arcades either.
[Toad Points - Slime Points]
2,569,000 - 173,200 = 2,395,800
[[Recipies + 1 * 100] + Percentages]
[[2 + 1 * 100] + 12] = 312
The toughest Q-Bert game on the planet. So fast, its not enjoyable
This is played from an SD card, but I do have this as original. Got about 1500-1600 original Spectrum games, all on shelves
You just have to travel to the right, until you get to the end in each round. When your ship explodes, you need to guide your spaceman to a new spacecraft following the direction given by the arrows
Nothing like it. You will be disappointed if that what you think you’ll be playing
Final score written in blue after bonus has been added. Bottom right corner tells what level the score was made on.

It is. Great game, which I think was sold as a budget game back then
Yes, not many play this system on this site, oh well
Noticed you gave up, which is understandable, as it seems there is a bug when playing this game on a 128K +2 machine. Once you have shoot all Fighters the level must end, and a new one must start. It doesn’t do so on the +2 machines. Seems this must be played on a normal 48K Spectrum, and maybe it works on the toastrack aswell
Most highscore tables back then on the Spectrum had some imagination when it came to entries
Had to wait until now to get a good version of Rally X for the Spectrum. Released last year, but I was to slow to get one of the first batch. Really good version, thanks to Tom Dalby
Got the 9th Gem bonus worth 2,560,000 after scene 31. Takes a lot of luck getting 9 such bonusses in that "few" scenes. The skill factor is to not lose a life in those 31 scenes
Don’t think I’ve ever seen the German version of Wolfenstein.
Not really You fly your spaceship, and needs to pick up pods to get more time to find the next one on until you fonish the level.
Yeah, this is British, and was released in 1987. Even think there were a few games released with that symbol on the front of the inlay, one being Father of Darkness:
FRANKI instead of ZTT on highscore table, as game/computer did not accept the input of Z
HELP, I can’t find the exit, and get out of the castle
Everyone should owe an Amiga. Great computer, especially for games
I found out there is a version of this game for the Amiga aswell
Yes, firts you have to get some stuff to the other side that you need, a bit like Frogger, then it turns into a Burger Time game. The game is called Mr. Wimpy.
Its not a rip-off Released by Blaby who released some great games for the Spectrum in the early days. This one and Highrise Harry being the best
They also released a great Burger Time game called Barmy Burgers. Love Blaby
[[Citizens + Dustbins] * [Score]]
2 Citizens + 2 Dustbins = 4
4 * 6600 = 26,400
The other names are from actors from the movie
Z key no responding, so I use initials XTT. Seems the game isn’t 100% compatible with the +2a
Yeah, either that, or I buy a cable to connect my disk drive, and then copy D64s over on real disk
Damn, does that mean I have to invest in that one, its so expensive
Yeah, sorry But wasn’t their extended 128k version of C64 games? My Batman is on 3 D64 disks, but my interface can’t swap disks, so I can only play first part. Can the 1541 Ultimate II swap disks, or is it a all in one for a 128k machine?
Both great games. Think Bomb Jack is in my Top 5 Spectrum games, and Hyper Sports my sports game number one ahead of Daley Thompsons Decathlon. But I used to be better at that Long Horse discipline
But is it a 128K file, or can it swap disks? The 48K is on 3 disks.
Cool maybe, but not that good really There were tons of these games for the Spectrum. Only problem was most of them was keyboard only, as they couldn't program dig and fill on joysticks as they only had one fire button back then as you know
Most of them thought it was easiest to program the keys D and F for Dig and Fill, but did not always set the direction keys to something that made sense when having to be used together with D & F
What interface do you use that can load disk 2? Never figured out if its possible with my interface, as its a no-name, and I don’t have instructions for it I’m even considering buying a cable to connect both Interface and my Disk drive to try and copy this game down on real disks.
Screenshot states that this was a gamed played on Skill Level 3
It stated Skill Level 2 on screenshot as proof of this being played on Level 2
If its one pixel touch then death like original, its not going to help that it looks better. Fingers crossed
Look at screen shot for proof that this was played on Skill Level 1
Don’t really get the scoring system in this game. I’ve played better games than this with more tanks left, and still not beat this score, hmmm
Bummer Are you sure its the computer itself, or the PSU?
Is this version as impossible as all other versions? Always thought those Cybernoid games were impossible
Indeed, weird that titles can’t be changed once a score is voted valid
Yeah, but the person who added it back then should have checked it better and added it. Some admins are to careless for this job. With my luck its Serious who added it, and I’ll get a slap on the fingers
I agree on this, but why isn’t that added in the description?
You can see on screenshot it says Level 1, which proves this was played on Skill Level 1.
You can see on screenshot it says Level 2, which proves this was played on Skill Level 2.
You can see on screenshot it says Level 3, which proves this was played on Skill Level 3.
You can see on screenshot it says Level 4, which proves this was played on Skill Level 4.
You can see on screenshot it says Level 5, which proves this was played on Skill Level 5.
Never been any good at it until I competed on it in a Facebook highscore challenge. Otherwise I would never had completed it
Completed - all 10 girls rescued
Rescued * 50000 + Score
10 * 50000 + 38445 = 538445
Just played it, indeed more horrible than I remember. Can we be sure that its not just all the cracks that are bad, and that the original doesn’t have these bugs? If not, how could they release it?
Yes, indeed Later it was re-released by Alternative, just named She Vampires, how boring
Yeah, great conversion. Had this on disc, but sold it together with all my other C64 stuff sometime in the 90s. Its the only item I regret selling back then, as it seems hard to find these days
I guess so, but I’m no expert. That stuff confuse me, as you need a step down or whatever its called. I guess you can play them on PAL aswell, but the speed would be off, either giving you an advantage or dis-advantage. But I’m as said no expert, maybe ask in the forum
When you get to the Heli, you must fly it back to the H in the enemies camp, and free the rest of the comrades, who are all captured in a big cage
It can be a really annoying game, that’s for sure
The response to joystick movement is very bad on this version, not really enjoyable
The problem is not to complete this game, but to complete it with a good score
Weird one. You can flip both flippers left and right, but mostly when it comes in the left side you press left, even though the ball is on the right side of the left flipper, and you should have pressed right. Very confusing
4 Girls rescued
Rescued * 50000 + Score
4 * 50000 + 5900 = 205900
Yeah, its a great machine, but some games are not compatible with this Black 128K. The Grey one is more compatible
Weird end to video. Could not input initials for highscore with Joystick, so while searching for the right keys, I must have pressed something the game wasn't to happy about me pressing
Ahh, now I see, that Serious. I thought you meant that I was becoming Serious of character, that will never happen
It says Damage is becomming serious, not me
On second screenshot you can see I was back in the boat with 560 points playing on Skill 4, proved by the white 4 at SKILL
To prove that are two 8s in the score compare with 8 in 1985 in bottom left corner. No, this game is not from 1965, I’m not that old
I’m so bad at these games, maybe I should give this one a go
Shame Kernzy isn’t around anymore for a little Defender battle
Yes, €60 is very cheap. I got mine refurbished at £165, I think it was. Therefore I dare to use mine. Bought it in the Netherlands. I’m sure he can fix yours if it blows up, so take a chance and use it
Completed for the first time ever
50,000 Points Completion Bonus added to the final score of 30,518 = 80,518.
That’s pretty easy if you ask me. Think your problem is that you use a joystick. Games like this are the only games to be played with keyboard
This is a composite mod 48k machine, that unfortunately got some upper ram faults, so can only play 16k games on it. Got several working rubber 48k, but none of them are composite modded.
For the first time ever I brought back first prisoner to safety
To be honest I don’t know, but don’t think so. More info here:
Sorry, don’t know. Think this one was the cheapest around back then. Don’t know the other one, but I’m pleased with this one
I kind of like it, but I must admit its not the best game. Seems there is only two attack modes, and then jump or duck to avoid arrows, that’s it really
Sorry for swapping pictures around falsely. The bottom one with the score this time
Yeah, but you always fail at certain points, and refuse to let it go, really annoying these games
I find this game annoying, but once I get started playing I can’t stop again
We needed another entry that isn’t just pure score, as you can score more by dying at the end of first zone with all your lives, and replay that zone, than if you complete the game.
[Percentages - Whole Minutes]
89-26 = 63
Same video as the one for Completion competition.
Not a good completion time, as I got a little confused at times, which I often do in this game
Thank you. Back in the day I was so annoyed that the copy I had was filled with high scores in the high score table, and I could never go on to it. Now, its still impossible to find one with a clean high score table, BUT I DID IT ANYWAY
Indeed a loading nightmare. Did you try with the TAP file on WOS?
Don’t know if I’ve ever told you lot how much I hate playing with keys instead of a joystick. Great that they back in the day made interfaces like the Comcon Programmable Joystick Interface
Initials only on two letters, so ZT, not ZTT
I found a coffin on Level 2 that I couldn’t open???
Mine is an old one that I don’t know who produced. The good thing about it, is that it works with C64, C16 and the Vic20 Don’t think it can handle multiload games on the C64 though
This one is cheaper, and sounds like a good one for the money if the other one is to expensive:
Oh, sorry, I got confused this one is for the Amiga. If you want one for the C64 you should go for this one. I don’t have it, but only heard good things about it
But its very expensive it seems
About $105: https://lotharek.pl/productdetail.php?id=28
Yes, its the European version of the Odyssey 2
My PB is 200k something, but ran into a level that I couldn’t remember how to get one of the gold bars
Thanks, never played Wizards Lair much, maybe I should try it out.
Those special stuff while loading were rare, but once in a while they came up with something
Playing the rarer 128K version, which is the same as 48K, except it got music, and doesn’t have the annoying Padlock protection
Maybe they forgot to update the roms in that package, meaning you should get the newest rom, as I suppose its the newest version of MAME you got?
If you want further help, and where to get the right stuff you can email me. It might be better for you to start it in DOS.
My email is at webspeed.dk with frankiex in front
I think the Everdrive style of interface for the C64 is called Ultimate, but its very expensive, but I’m sure there are others out there which are cheaper
Why does these emulators not run? Sounds weird, how old is your PC?
Wanted to play either 1 1/2 hours, or until I passed 200k, whichever came first, just in time to get done before football on the telly Wasted last 4 lives. No point hoarding of course. For prove of that I can easily get that score without hoarding, take a look at my video under emulation, where I pass 1 million in a little over 7 hours of play
Took a lot of tries to take first. Why? Because I’ve always been very bad at Defender type of games
Just noticed, that I already got a video up for it under emulation
http://highscore.com/scores/ZXSpectrumEmulated/GotoHell/25325
You'll see that you have to collect 6 non flashing crosses, before you find the seventh and last one, but I hope the video show that once you spot a cross, its not just that getting to it, you got to travel a long way, as I said complex maze
Yeah, some games you need to be creative to make a scoring that make sense. The score in this game don't mean anything really I'm about to make a recording of Go To Hell in a few minutes
Forgot to put up tag, but you can see its the same TV
[Percentages - Whole Minutes]
85-21 = 64
Forgot to put up tag, but you can see its the same TV on both pictures
The door on the left, and the big key under Scroll proves it was completed
It was their only release. Didn't sell to well, so therefore not really that known. I'll make a video one of the next days, and upload
The removing of points when missing a post is really annoying, and the Frogger bit is more difficult than it looks
Not exactly, but if I remember correctly they got the mothership idea from Demon Attack
As I remember, the Arcade version is much harder, to hard for a non-shooter like me I’m sure this version would be like a walk in the park for you
My favourite shooter of all time. New PB, and I’m aure I’ll never beat that one, a once in a lifetime game for me, but so pleased
VERY difficult game, due to the controls. Took me MANY tries to get this score, and when I did, I was surprise I got that high LOL
Played this a lot back then, as I had the original, but can’t seem to get anywhere in it these days
I’ll do that within a week, but I’m no good at it. If I forget remind me in a PM
Yeah, its all about building up a lot of Xyzons in the first rounds, to have some to waste if in trouble. Wonder why this wasn’t done for the Spectrum back then, think it would have sold well
Figured out I could use a Xyzon on blasting enemies if in trouble Makes it a little easier
Never heard of this game until GTible requested it, thanks, great game
Never heard of this before. Just gave it a go. That seems to be a very good score, well done
I think a video of whole gameplay would be best with such a score, screenshots not enough, especially under emulation
Wonder why HS table freaked out like this, maybe because game was loaded on 128k +2a machine, and not 48k machine
It seems I can’t beat 60:00, thats why I haven’t posted anything on those tracks
So happy I never threw anything away of my old stuff, but did sell my C64 with disk drive to invest in more Spectrum in the 90s. What I’m most annoyed about by doing that is that I also lost my Disk version of Rainbow Islands Not easy to find these days...
Are you going through mags, and play the games reviewed? Sounds like it Having a full set of Crash, Sinclair User, Your Spectrum and Your Sinclair I would not dare starting doing that
How many mags you got?
You played a whole game in one day? I call that stamina I normally do it in a lot of savings of a few hours of playing
No video as I was only doing some testing. I cleared one car park with success, and ran out of energy on the next. This proves that its the score written in green/blue that counts towards the HS table, and not the score you would have reached when failing a car park
Just tested, and there is a HS table. You probably skipped it to fast as it comes up while upstart to playing. The lowest position has a score of 10.000, so your 13k would have made it onto the HS table if it were legit
I think you should add it as 2190. Played it many years ago, seem to remember that getting the judges happy wasn’t that easy Probably just me being bad
Can’t check now, but would final score be 2190 instead of the 13140? Does the game have a HS table, where it accepts the 13k score?
Well, can't remember ever playing this on a harder setting, it hard enough on Easy Peasy
Never heard of this one until GTibel requested it, I like it
Great game, you should give it a go again
First version of Hudson Softs Pang game
Yes, it gets insane. Love this game anyway
No video as I can't get XSplit to capture this version of MAME with which this recording was made. For more prove, you must find MAME 62b and download my INP from MARP, which is in third place.
Finished game, included picture of fight with final boss
Plays back like a dream
No video as I can't get XSplit to capture this version of MAME with which this recording was made. For more prove, you must find MAME 60b and download my INP from MARP, which is in second place.
Looped once
Plays back like a dream
No video as I can't get XSplit to capture this version of MAME with which this recording was made. For more prove, you must find WolfMame 106 and download my INP from MARP, which is in third place.
Plays back like a dream
Thanks. It's a great game, spend a lot of time on it back then. Just wonder why XSplit wont work on some versions of MAME
No video as I can't get XSplit to capture this version of MAME with which this recording was made. For more prove, you must find MAME61b and download my INP from MARP, which is in second place. Plays back like a dream
Completed BTW
Sorry about pics being lazy, and not standing up
Played it a lot back then, but did not know how to get good scores. Think I know now, which is why I’m addicted again Only ever played the Amiga version, and the newer PC version. Might have to check it out on the C64 one day
Yeah, or when they use the space for some messages of all kind
No, it was written for and first released for the Spectrum. I noticed that aswell, and found it a bit weird
It seems that the devil is the last boss, but he needs a lot of hits
Game created for and featured in interactive Netflix movie 'Black Mirror: Bandersnatch'
A movie featuring the ZX Spectrum, including Frankie, and so much 80's. What's not to like
I wonder if that little devil on stage 40 was the last boss?
Oh, well...Happy New Year everybody
The Amiga is a great machine, really a must have in my opinion
Yes, made it to top title of an English Duke, which gave a lot of acres
Yeah, and I prefer the original over the Gold release
Me neither, just checked what games had been added, that I didn’t add
True, forgot about that you can only remove before its voted legit. This site has so many flaws which should be fixed really
Hi mate, you need to move this score to “The Amazing Spider-Man”. This is a different game. Bufu told me, as I submitted here because I compared to your video, and thought the game was known inder two names
Thanks, was confused myself, but looked at GTibel upload, which is for this game aswell, so thought it had two names. He should be told aswell ????
I can imagine, that its not the easiest game to get into
No, there are big differences. The Spectrum and the Amstrad versions are the best 8 bit versions.
Thanks, could not beat my MARP score. I need a break
Sorry about the missing sound, but for everyones insanity, it might be a good thing
Can’t remember ever playing a Centipede game as difficult as this one, really no joy at all
Much faster than the Spectrum version, and therefore not as enjoyable, oh well
I think you need to contact Serious, or make a post on the forum, as there seems to be a problem with your page. If I go there and click the ‘Vote for my Scores’ button it doesn’t come up with your scores, but other players scores. That might be something the system does if I’ve voted on all your scores, but I don’t know. Might be a bug on your page
Here we go again
Not a good version though, seems to slow on key response, oh well
No, that tapedeck is for my ZX Spectrum. I’m using an interface with SD card that is attached on the back
Think I’ve voted on all your scores. If I press your ‘Vote for my scores’ button, others users scores comes up???
As the clock in top right corner haven’t reached 0:00 proves that the game was completed, in this case with 18 seconds left
ONe could think so, but its not a strip game, just free her over and over
Completion message can be seen shortly af about 12:48, and on picture aswell ofcourse
That’s because you used a smiley from the keyboard. You need to use the smilies in the bar over the text field
I love these bomb the city games. Always loved them, as I love snake games
Voted YES on all your scores. Can it be that there were only 3 scores to vote on?
Not really. I think they were on the Spectrum first unless I’m mistaken
There is also a version that could be played with different types of Lightguns
Must be. There was no Miner 2049 for the Spectrum, just this one.
Don’t think the 10k includes any type-ins aswell. Never counted them, just a figure I’ve read before. However some of these type-ins was actually good games. One of my favourite 2 players games on the Spectrum called Dropout was a type-in, just a shame I don’t know anyone who wants to play it with me. Must wait for grandkids maybe. Need to influence them
Probably about 10k releases for the Spectrum
Yes, want to check what games are on Side2 interface to delete those not working, or being very bad
It says Mission 02 as I reached Mission 2 in previous game
I really like this game, even though it can be a bit annoying at times
Great score. I get to confused when those attack waves comes
Yeah, released on a covertape with a mag. Maybe I should find out what I can win
Hi
You need to remove this and re-enter it, and in the last box write 11.9
It will then write score as 0:02:11.9
No, but there are more than this one for the Spectrum. From top of my head, Pinball Wizard (my favourite), Time Scanner and also 3D Pinball
BLAM is a game of which I got one of just two known copies in the world. Its a 3 levels shooter (long levels), and is a good game with great sound and graphics. I just recently transfered it from tape to TZX/TAP to be used with an emulator. You can download those files on the WOS board, or leave me your Email address, and I’ll send it to you
COMPLETED
Final score 543,220 adding the 100,000 Points Completion Bonus = 643,220
Someone just submitted a score, and reminded me of those 30 points

You can only see your final score in this game for a few seconds when you lose your last life, and there is no highscore score table, however, when you restart a game your score from previous game is on screen for a few seconds, this is where this picture is taken

The J in top right corner proves this is Time Attack J.
The I in top right corner, proves this is Time Attack I.
The H in top right corner proves this is Time Attack H.
Seems more like that Coco rocks the Dragon, but I’m trying
It says on top of screen that this score was done on level Honcho
Top of screen says Rookie, which proves this was played as Rookie
The G in the top right corner proves this is Time Attack G.
The E in top right corner proves this is Time Attack E.
The D in top right corner proves this is Time Attack D.
The C in the top right corner proves this is Time Attack C.
The B in top right corner proves this is Time Attack B
The A in top right corner proves this was played on level A
Paused seconds before I die. Hate when game don’t have a HS table, and only gives you a few seconds to note down your score
The 5 Pieces collected proves that I’ve completed the game, therefore adding the 10,000 bonus
1440 + 10000 = 11440
The J in top right corner proves this is Time Attack J
The I in top right corner proves this is Time Artack I
The H in top right corner proves this is Time Attack H
Thank you, can start walking about again, finally
The G in top right corner proves this is Time Attack G
The F in top rigth corner proves this is Time Attack F
The E in top right corner proves this is Time Attack E
Look in bottom right corner for prove this is Game B
This is the only one
Had a lot bitd but gave them away. Just really want to get Octopussy again, that was my favourite
The D is top right corner probes this is Time Attack D
The C in top right corner proves this is Time Attack C
The B in top right corner proves this is Time Attack B
The A in top right corner proves this was played on Time Attack A
Don’t think you’ll have any problems taking it back
I’m thinking about requesting them, but thought you might know why they haven’t. Maybe the admin ran out of energy
Thanks Bought it boxed together with other GBA games in a Danish retro shop to keep me entertained as I have to stay in bed for about 2 weeks after a knee surgery. Just need something to play
Great score
Do you know why all the other variations hasn’t been added?
I buy these devices for all systems were available Think I got about 8 games for it, but they are to expensive getting hold of
The character in top left corner proves this is Easy.
Thanks, not even that expensive. Future investment
Is that some kind of SD device to load games from?
By 2 points, phew
Game B in bottom right corner proves this was played on hard.
Yeah, had a lot of small ones besides those two big ones and Octopus, but can’t remember them all. Sometimes gets it mixed up with what my mates had back then
That sounds like the perfect game Unfortunately I only got a Gameboy Advance, but plan to get hold of a normal Gameboy. Only got 3 handhelds, the two others are bigger ones, Minchman and Galaxy Invader 1000. Two machines I had as a kid, and gave away, but have bought within the last years
Thanks, yes its a great game. My favourite is Octopus, but gave that away many years ago
Prove of this was played on Game A can be seen in bottom left corner
You are right, I remember now. Got an adapter following when I bought mine.
Nice trick loading that way. I got an interface that can be used on all three machines I got, C64, C16 and my Vic20.
What do you mean by middleware, and how is it possible you ain’t got a joystick?
Default settings. Trackball probably needed to get good score on this one
Default settings. Score in top left corner in first picture.
Played on default; Easy, 3 lives and Bonus after 10,000 points.
Yeah, but it gets tough fast I think
Choose Easy under Game Options, then choose Normal in the game itself. This should have been split into more categories
To tough for me to get onto the build-in top 5 highscore chart
I’m surprised I managed to get such a “good” score
Thank you, the PS1 is mu newest addition, though it sits nicely on top of the PS2
No, its game number 15 of the official Videopac G7000 releases.
Never played it in the arcade. Didn’t even know it was an arcade conversion, when I fell in love with the Spectrum version back then
Never played it in the arcade. Didn’t even know it was an arcade conversion, when I fell in love with the Spectrum version back then
Yeah, you can’t run away from there “bullets”, and you can run towards them to shoot them without loosing a lot of energy. You need to be lucky finding a lot of food for a decent game. Good idea, but badly done
Don’t know the Arcade version that well. Think this conversion is allright, I’ve seen worse on the Spectrum
No Hi-Score table, look at Hi-Score at top of screen.
Position 4. Even knowing what to do, I think this is a weird game
Nice strategic game. This appeared as a type-in game in a Sinclair Special issue of the German computer mag Happy Computer back in 1984
Sadly, the only one being slapped in this game is Benny
My announched highscore was after I completed round one. In second round the ranger keept carching me, and I did not get to many apples into my basket, and lost all my points.
Level 3 on top line proves this score was made on Level 3.
Sorry about blurry picture, but it leaves the game very fast after ending
Level 2 in top line proves this score was made on Level 2.
As it says Level 1 in top line, it proves this score was scored on Level 1.
Space Harrier rip-off that was released on Sinclair User covertape.
Just tested if I could load it, and had a game. Could not remember what to do besides collecting spindles. But yes, weird and not to easy game
The text “You’ve been bovvered” proves this was played in Big Bear Mode.
Level 3 in bottom left corner proves this was played on Hard.
This is such a great game. Shame they never made a Spectrum version. Would have loved that back then
Level 2 in the bottom left corner of picture proves this was played on Fair.
Completed
Level 1 in bottom left corner of picture proves this was played on Easy, or watch video for proof
As it says Level 3 on top picture, it proves this was played on Hard.
As it states Level 2 on top picture, it proves this was played on Fair.
Great game, bit slightly to Easy. Now on to harder levels, can’t remember how much harder it gets
That’s the only way forward to fill up on energy bars, otherwise you lose lifes to fast especially later on. The Temple is really hard.
A bit rusty as its been some time since I've played it.
But got places in The Temple where I hadn't been yet, but it still confuses the hell out of me
One problem I see is on the top of your screenshot. Take a look at my submitted pictures
Yes it is, also important for gaining extra lives
Just a joke, not to copy what I do, if I ever get to make a recording By the time I get it done you guys will have completed the whole thing anyway
When I find the time I’ll try making a recording, but everything is copyright, so will not help you guys. But you don’t need to complete the map to survive, but it would be an advantage
Considering the limitations, this is a great version.
Are you supposed to shoot or land on the Dollar building? I’ve shoot it, but it just lets me restart Dollar building screen???
Maze layout proves this was scored on variation 1. Requested 2,3 and 4
Only that one version on my cart, so I’m stuck with one life only
Watch my or BAZ’ video. Its a fast action game at times
Lets see if you beat me, if yes, then the game is entered falsely, as lowest score should be on top. Nothing surprises me at this site anymore, so I would not be surprised if it was entered badly
Mine is also from a multicart. Think there is a second version, need to see if that gives me more cars
Number of cars left? On my version, you have one car, no wonder I can’t get over 5000
What does that 1 in the bottom right corner mean? There is no number there on the version I’m playing
No, don’t think we had any exotic games like this. Mostly played Rally X, Lady Bug and Fantasy, then I got my beloved Spectrum, and rarely went to the arcades.
Used to play this a lot. My PB is 79k, wonder if I could get there today
They did come up with some good ideas for that machine, considering the limitations. Love that machine
Ahh, maybe I used to do that
I’m sure you know the feeling getting back to a game, thinking “how on earth did I use to score that much in this game?”
Yes, the second 3 is a little hard to see for old folk like us
As soon as you make a mistake or missing a port, the timer stops, and the game counts your faults instead. You only get a final time if you complete the track without faults.
Played it recently, and could not get into it. Kind of hard game I think.
Yes it is, had a game over 1000 but it rolls over, so did not make pictures to prove it
Improvement. Had this game from back in the day. Best game together with the two Munchkins
LOL, see that I didn't get the paper in the shoot, but it states ZTT in bottom right corner
Thanks, think this is the best BurgerTime for the Spectrum. Back then they just made conversions of arcade machines and named then something else, and nothing happened. Good old days
I made the 9, but that surely mist be the max possible
I enjoy the slow game a lot more than the fast game
Hope this has been entered as lowest score wins. Anywhere that can be checked?
You can see I finish game by finding all submarines: 3 of size 1, 2 of size 2, and 1 each of size 3 and 4.
You got a 1200? Nice. Come to think of it, you have requested AGA games before, so you must have. Jealous
Played the Odyssey version “Computer Golf” from my Multicart
Timer at 00:00 proves this was a 3 minute game, and not a practice game where timer runs up.
The topscore of 31 is going to be very hard to beat, well done
Next time better make a picture showing the timer to prove you played a 3 minute countdown game, and not used the practice variations where the timer just runs up. Timer showing 00:00 proves is was a countdown game. Just a tip
Some rounds are to easy, and others annoying, but overall a decent game
I used to be able to complete this with ease, I'm getting old
I think I’ve been on the sixth island on the C64 version, but never on the Amiga. Had RI for the C64 on disk, but sold it all many years ago. Think that disk version is a little rare today
Thanks, must try that when I find the time
Need to find these secret rooms first
Weird way of doing it. Don’t understand games that ends without showing the final, especially when there is no highscore table
How do you get it to state the score there? When I play it, and die, it says 0 up there
Yeah, I was second best player from this site when we competed in the IGBY tour a few years ago on the MAME version. Very addictive, and a great game
Yeah, it seems a little to hard, cause the game and the whole idea is great
Great score. Yes, it can be annoying, but one more try
Game would have been better had there been more different mazes, but maybe not enough memory.
Lucky I got more exits at the bottom of the playfield, which seems to be easier getting to
Drop that Rainbow Islands, this is more you
Had a few goes at RI today, max was M1.2, bue dies in Dracula boss stage, and once you die there, and has to start over with one rainbow, it gets to difficult for me, gotta beat him in the first go
The weird thing is that the bird still was on the shoulder of Jebediah. I think there are two birds
Need some practice on that Skateboard, and can't remember how to get that bird flying
Thank you, but I think there is one on here who an easily beat it
Thank you, but you can beat it. Funny enough, I love this game on all platforms, and my big love is the Spectrum, but the Spectrum version of this game, is the one I’m having most problems with
Yeah, but topscores are good. Will have to work on unlocking stuff
Just a warm up score
I've played a lot of Rally X in my life, and I must say this feels different. So different, that I find it harder, probably because it doesn't act as it should
Yes, correct. You can’t play AGA games on an A500, neither can I on my A600
You could try the AGA version under emulation. The graphics should be better, and some games have extras.
Keeping the ball alive is almost impossible. This table is more lick than skill
Don’t know the difference, never tried the AGA version. What Amiga do you have? Looks like an A500 model. AGA was the last chipset they used and was only used in two machines; A1200 and A4000
At least this is a little difficult. If I remember correctly, the Spectrum conversion was very easy
Tactics Not a bad game really, but not as good as Thunder Castle that is also on that disc, but not yet added to the database. Asked for it, but wonder if it ever gets added. Think Serious is the only person who can add for the PS2
One it might be possible, but I’m not to hopefull
The best way to do it is to let Medium be 3 lives as in your recording, and then let Easy be a 4 lives game. Someone made a real mess when adding these. There isn’t anything called Medium, it Normal, oh well
Yes, 4 levels. The last one being in a castle it looks like.
Maybe I'll do a video under emulation, but would prefer waiting until I've completed it, if that ever happens
My wife used to like it aswell, but no entrance in the mancave
I don't demand videos on original hardware. I can't find a way to do it. However, I prefer peeps do it under emulation, as there they have all posibilities.
Already in the caves? Nice progress speed
Yeah, and when I make a stupid mistake, I lose focus, need a break
Yeah, it can’t be that hard, so one more try
Really nice. Had a game today, but make to many mistakes. Need a break from it, but I’ve saif that before
Huge progress in The Temple, but made a mistake, and got stuck, but think I know how to fix that next time
Yeah, I’ve stopped caring about my percentages. When all this started I was at 99.3, now I’m at 98.8. Someone or some users here have a pityful life it seems
Video shows that I play a B Game. Hope I did it right, not that familiar with this
